The Riverton City Council will hold a public hearing Tuesday to discuss the city's proposed 223 percent property-tax increase. Residents will be limited to two-minute comments at the 7 p.m. meeting at the City Chambers, 12830 S. 1700 West. Under the proposed tax increase, the annual bill on a roughly $304,000 home would increase from about $38 to $115 - a difference of $77 per year. - Jennifer W. Sanchez
