Provo residents can weigh in today about how the city's downtown will develop.

The city is holding an open house to showcase the downtown strategic plan. The open house will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Provo City Center, 351 W. Center St.

Paul Glauser, director of Provo's Redevelopment Agency, said the open house is a chance for residents to point out anything they think was overlooked when the city conducted public workshops on the downtown's future earlier this year. He said people also are welcome to volunteer to help make the plan work as well. The plan focuses on cultural identity, civic beauty, urban variety and community connections.
