Crews battled a large house fire Tuesday evening in West Valley City.

The blaze near 3450 West and 2600 South was reported about 6:15 p.m.

The home appeared to be a total loss, according to photos posted by the West Valley City Fire Department and others at the scene.

There were no injuries reported; the fire displaced a family of seven including three children, according to the American Red Cross.
