A woman is dead after a Sunday night crash in Manti, police say.

The crash occurred about 9:50 p.m. at 200 N. Main Street (U.S. Highway 89), where a westbound car failed to stop at the intersection, according to a news release from the Utah Highway Patrol.

An SUV heading north on Main Street crashed into the car's driver side, the release said. The woman driving the car was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered critical injuries. She was taken by helicopter to a hospital but died before arriving.

The two occupants of the SUV suffered minor injuries, the release said. Additional details about the crash had not been released as of Monday night.
