Magna • Utah officials say two toddlers are in serious condition after surviving a house fire.

Magna officials say the children were with their parents when a fire broke out at their home on Sunday. The family suffered smoke inhalation.

Fire crews found one of the toddlers unconscious, but alive. That child was taken to the hospital by helicopter. The other child was transported by ambulance.

A Unified Police Department spokesman says the two children are in serious condition.

The cause of the fire remains unknown.

United Fire spokesman Matt McFarlane says the home suffered about $50,000 in damage.

A dog and a cat were killed in the fire.
