Trump says grading a president's first 100 days is 'not very meaningful.' Hatch decries Bears Ears, calls for Trump to rescind designation. UTA considers abandoning a 10-acre parcel of land.

Happy Tuesday. He called the measure a "ridiculous standard." He dismissed it as "an artificial barrier." And he derided it as "not very meaningful." Still, President Donald Trump is anxious to have a good report on his first 100 days in office. So he's lined up several rushed efforts to push through a health care plan, a tax reform initiative and a border wall to accomplish a big ticket item as the days tick down. "No administration has accomplished more in the first 90 days," Trump declared last week. Orrin Hatch spoke on the Senate floor about his visit to Bears Ears National Monument in southeastern Utah and urged President Donald Trump to rescind its designation, arguing San Juan County residents "should not be at the mercy of a federal bureaucracy so completely out of touch with the western way of life."
