Police are looking for a man who is suspected of aggravated burglary at a house in Draper on Tuesday morning.

Draper police suspect the man gained entry to the house through unlocked windows while the victim was in the shower at 3:30 a.m.

When the 32-year-old resident got out of the shower, the suspect assaulted him, tied him up, then rummaged through the house and car for cash, according to a Draper Police Department news release. The victim — who suffered serious injuries, according to Draper police Sgt. Chad Carpenter — managed to reach his cell phone and call 911 after the burglar left.

Because of comments the victim made, police believe the house was specifically targeted, and that the community is not in danger, Carpenter said.
