A man died in a car crash during a snowstorm in Wellington on Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred when Jose R. Jaramillo, 89, drove onto State Route 6 from 900 East without yielding to a pickup truck, which broadsided Jaramillo's car, according to Utah Highway Patrol.
Jaramillo, a trooper believes, died on impact. The driver of the pickup didn't suffer injuries.
Snow had accumulated on the road, and police don't believe the pickup driver had been speeding. —
