Late-show host Stephen Colbert took aim Thursday night at Utah Sen. Todd Weiler's proposed bill to allow people to sue pornography producers for damages.

"Are there any Utah fans here?" Colbert asks mid-monologue, to weak applause.

"Are there any porn fans here?" he continues, eliciting many more "whoos" from the audience.

Colbert then brings up a shot of a Salt Lake Tribune article about Weiler's bill.

Weiler led a 2016 effort that declared porn to be a public health crisis. He's running two porn-related bills in 2017.

"Right now porn is available without any warnings and labeling, without any protections online," Weiler told The Tribune.

Colbert notes that he agrees with Weiler that pornography should be labeled — for easier searching by users, he jokes.

The "Late Show" monologue transitions into a fake commercial for Galino & Farnes pornography attorneys. Watch the sketch above.
