South Ogden police responding to a report of a gunshot victim Friday night found two men dead inside a home and a third male who was seriously injured.

Officers were sent to the home in the 3600 block of Adams Avenue at 7:58 p.m., according to a South Ogden Police Department news release.

The apparent motive was a home invasion robbery, according to the SOPD.

The dead have been identified as Cyle Vankomen, 24, and Kevin Nelson, 61. The third victim is a 20-year-old Hispanic male. His name is being withheld for investigative reasons, according to the SOPD.

The department had no suspect information. The home was being processed by crime scene technicians, and the homicide task force from the Weber County Attorney's Office was assisting with the investigation.
