A man convicted of stalking Ivanka Trump in 2012 was charged Thursday with targeting a woman in Salt Lake City.

Justin Massler, 34, faces one count of stalking, a third-degree felony. If convicted, he would face up to five years in prison.

In September and October, Massler apparently sent 66 messages on social media to the Utah woman and nine emails to her employer, according to a probable-cause statement from Salt Lake City police. He also came to her workplace, a hotel, to deliver a letter to her.

It's unclear when Massler first met the woman, but he "made a YouTube video for her and speaks about her in other YouTube videos," court documents state. Massler identifies as "Cloud Starchaser" in some of the posted videos.

Third District Judge Mark Kouris issued a warrant for Massler's arrest as a safety measure for the woman.

Massler was convicted of aggravated harassment and criminal contempt in 2012 for stalking Ivanka Trump, President-elect Donald Trump's daughter, after he allegedly inundated the former model with emails, tweets and videos, according to a CBS report. He was sentenced to serve six months in jail.

The probable-cause statement says Massler suffers from mental illness.
