Nonprofits offer holiday shopping for homeless families

Volunteers of America, The Road Home and the YWCA offered clothing via their Candy Cane Corner holiday store on Friday. The program provides clothing and other supplies to families who may be homelessness during the holiday season.

The shop accepts clothing or monetary donations at its downtown Salt Lake City location, 340 West 200 S., according to its website.
