A woman who had walked into in a restricted area along FrontRunner tracks in Davis County was hit and killed by a commuter train late Tuesday morning.

The death still was being investigated, but authorities supected it was a suicide. The woman was dead at the scene.

Utah Transit Authority spokesman Remi Barron said a bus bridge was put in place between the line's Clearfield and Roy stations for several hours while the scene was cleared.
