A woman was hospitalized after a school bus and minivan collided Tuesday morning in Box Elder County.

The crash, which occurred about 7:40 a.m., happened after a minivan traveling west on 11600 North failed to yield to the bus traveling north on 4800 West in Tremonton, according to a news release from the Box Elder County Sheriff's Office.

The bus flipped onto its side, the release said, but none of the bus' occupants — including the driver, an aide and four elementary age students with special needs — were injured. All were wearing seat belts.

An ambulance took the woman driving the minivan to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, the sheriff's office said. Box Elder School District notified parents, who were reunited with their children after the crash.
