Magna residents got an early awakening Tuesday when two minor earthquakes rattled the west Salt Lake County community.

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations recorded the first, a 2.1-magnitude temblor, at 4:04:17 a.m. The second, a 2.4-magnitude quake, occurred 26 seconds later, event recorders showed.

The quakes came five days after a 3.2-magnitude event bumped the eastern slope of the Oquirrh Mountains near Bluffdale.

No damages or injuries were reported in Monday's shakers 1 mile east-northeast of Magna, or in Friday morning's quake about 4 miles southwest of Bluffdale.
