A crash on southbound Interstate 215 near California Avenue in west Salt Lake City impacted three lanes of traffic on Wednesday evening.

A semi-truck overturned about 4:30 p.m., temporarily closing the three right lanes and two nearby entrance ramps, said Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce.

Police extricated an occupant of the truck, but there were no injuries. It is unclear, Royce said, if strong winds passing through the region caused the semi to tip.

The crash was cleared about 6:30 p.m.
