Ogden • The Capitol Christmas Tree visited Ogden on Tuesday afternoon before continuing toward Washington, D.C.

The 80-foot Engelmann spruce was on display at the Forest Service Regional Office, 324 25th St. The tree was cut Nov. 2 on the Payette National Forest near McCall, Idaho.

The tree will be lit at the U.S. Capitol sometime in early December.
