A man's body was found Saturday morning by duck hunters in the marshes of the Great Salt Lake, according to Weber County sheriff's deputies.

The man was identified as 40-year-old John Michael Foulke, deputies wrote in a news release on Monday.

Investigators did not know how Foulke died, but said foul play was not suspected.

Foulke last was seen parking his car at the Ogden High School parking lot on Oct. 28, deputies wrote. He was found wearing a dark, long-sleeve, collared shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.

The hunters found Foulke's body at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, about halfway between Little Mountain and Fremont Island on West 12th Street, deputies wrote.

"Mr. Foulke was not dressed for the weather and it is unknown why he may have been in the area," deputies wrote.

Anyone with information or who may have seen Foulke walking near West 12th Street may call investigators at 801-778-6631.
