Police and paramedics responded early Wednesday afternoon to what first was reported to be serious injury auto-pedestrian accident in South Ogden.

SOPD Master Officer Bryan Hough said a woman in her mid-30s was sideswiped by a car as she attempted to cross the street westbound on Skyline Drive at U.S. 89 at 12:38 p.m.

However, she was conscious and communicating with emergency responders when taken to the hospital, where she later was reported to be in fair condition with non-life threatening injuries.
