Daytime highs around 70 degrees, breezy south winds nudging clouds through sunny, blue skies — and all that two weeks before the election.

It's a sign, Utah. Take a break from the mudslinging political ads, shed that electoral angst and arguments. The midweek Wasatch Front forecast will be perfect for "teaching the world to sing" (in perfect harmony, with or without Coke), to "smile on your brother," or, Lord, even a hand-holding rendition of "Kumbaya."

After Tuesday's upper-60s in the Salt Lake and Tooele valleys, Wednesday will see highs in the low-70s and Thursday the mid-70s.

Southern Utahns also celebrate a "Good Day Sunshine" or two before rain showers arrive Thursday night. After Tuesday's highs near 80 degrees under sunny skies, Wednesday will bring mostly clear horizons and temperatures in the mid-80s.

The Utah Division of Air Quality gives us all more reason to "laugh . . . when the sun is out [and] feel good in a special way" — air quality grades are "green," or healthy through the midweek.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website — with the exception of mold, which is "high" — reported that allergens were "low," or did not register on the pollen index at all as of Tuesday.
