A missing man who was last seen a week ago was found safe Sunday, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.

Taylor Rose, 22, had run away from his mother's car near the South Towne Center shopping mall in Sandy on Oct. 9.

The department tweeted shortly before 9 p.m. that Rose had been located. No details were given.

Rose, who has diabetes and requires multiple injections each day, did not have his medication with him. He also has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, police said.
