SWAT officers on Monday tracked down a woman in Rich County who reported that she was being held against her will in a cabin near Idaho but was unsure of the exact location.

The woman's mother contacted dispatchers about 11 a.m. after receiving a call from her daughter, who said her boyfriend had threatened to kill her and that she was hiding in an upstairs closet, according to a Rich County Sheriff's Office news release.

Deputies tried to triangulate the location of the woman's cellphone, the release says, but her service provider was uncooperative so they sent her a text message with instructions to call 911.

After the woman's location was confirmed, SWAT officers from the Logan Police Department and Cache Sheriff's Office showed up and made contact with a man at the cabin. The man said he had left the cabin after an argument with the woman and had not seen her since 10:30 a.m., the news release says.

The man was detained while the house was searched and the woman was found in an upstairs bedroom closet. The release says the woman was taken voluntarily to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.

No other details were released.
