An early Friday morning fire heavily damaged a vacant home in Ogden, but no injuries were reported.
Ogden Deputy Fire Chief Eric Bauman said the 5:02 a.m. blaze at 3000 S. Jefferson Ave., where remodeling work had been under way, caused an estimated $20,000.
The cause of the fire was undetermined and remained under investigation.
Ogden firefighters were aided by crews from neighboring Roy in quickly dousing the flames.
