The Wasatch Front will have another day of summer temperatures, with highs on Tuesday in the 80s and possibly reaching 90.

The National Weather Service is predicting the temperature in the Salt Lake and Tooele valleys could top out at 90, while the Ogden and Provo areas will see highs in the upper 80s.

Logan and Wendover will be only slightly cooler, with the thermometer hitting the mid 80s.

Rain is likely on Tuesday afternoon in the southwest part of the state, including St. George, and the high will reach the upper 80s, according to the weather service.

Precipitation also is predicted for south central Utah, including Kanab, with a high in the upper 70s.

The weather service is expecting a widespread "precipitation event" in Utah on Wednesday.
