A rollover crash in Payson sent three people to the hospital Monday, one of them in critical condition.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened when an SUV made a right turn onto 800 South from 1270 West, and crashed into a van heading west about 2 p.m., according to Payson Chief of Police Brad Bishop.

The SUV's 60-year-old female passenger was ejected in the crash, he said, and the driver was extricated from the car, which had rolled. The woman was transported in critical condition to Mountain View Hospital, Bishop said, and two others had minor injuries.
