Clark Planetarium will be closed from Tuesday through Sept. 16 for new exhibit installation.

This is the last leg of a lengthy planetarium effort to expand, modernize and make its exhibits more interactive. Dozens of new astronomy and space-science exhibits will be unveiled during its "Ready, Set Re-Launch" party on Oct. 22.

"Although our building will be closed for two weeks," said Clark Planetarium Director Seth Jarvis, "we will provide appearances at community events and play testing some of our new exhibits at multiple branches of the Salt Lake City Public Library."

The planetarium will reopen for normal business hours Sept. 17 at 10:30 a.m.
