Salt Lake City residents and area stakeholders are invited to a public open house for an ongoing discussion on emerging design concepts for the Foothill Drive corridor.

The open house at Hillside Middle School, 1825 S. Nevada St. (2330 East), will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The Foothill Drive Implementation Strategy is designed to identify short- and long-term priorities to address traffic congestion, improve neighborhood connections, enhance safety, and provide transportation options on this vital urban thoroughfare.

The boundaries of the Foothill Drive corridor are from the I-80/I-215 interchange to Guardsman Way.
