A slow-moving TRAX train hit an SUV on Wednesday night.

The crash occurred near 2200 South West Temple in South Salt Lake about 4:50 p.m., said Utah Transit Authority spokesman Remi Barron.

The S-Line streetcar was traveling "really slowly," Barron said, when the car went in front of it for unknown reasons. There were no significant injuries.

A temporary bus bridge was in place to handle delays, but the train returned to its normal schedule by 5:40 p.m.
