A male motorcyclist is dead after his bike collided with a car Thursday night in Cottonwood Heights.
The crash occurred on Highland Drive near 6900 South about 7:30 p.m., police said. Investigators were piecing together what caused the fatal crash, Sgt. Ryan Shosted said Thursday night, but they did not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor.
Shosted said he believed no one else was injured in the crash.
More details were not immediately released.
