Boy in serious condition after ATV accident in South Jordan

A 15-year-old boy was flown to a hospital in serious condition Saturday after being thrown from an ATV in a South Jordan field.

At about 10:50 a.m., the boy was riding in a field near 5100 West and 11800 South when he hit a bump and was bucked off the machine, Unified Police reported.

He was taken to Primary Children's Medical Center for treatment of facial trauma, UPD said.
