Philadelphia • More women than men are talking about major-party presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton on Facebook, and more young folks — at least those ages 25-34 — are talking about the election than other demographics.

Facebook set up a media center here at the Democratic National Convention and showed me a few of the neat tricks on the social media site's "magic wall," which allows you to drill down into data on what users are posting and commenting about.

Utah's No. 1 political issue on Facebook, for example, isn't education, which polls usually show popular in the state, but government ethics. That fact may be odd, but it makes sense, given that the discussion of Clinton's use of a private email server is included in that category.
