The Draper man accused of stabbing two women, one fatally, at a Wyoming hotel was bound over to district court for trial.

Bradley Ross Fairbourn, 18, faces a charge of murder, a first-degree felony, for the June 23 slaying of 29-year-old Naisha Rae Story, of South Jordan, and a charge of attempted murder, also a first-degree felony, over injuries her friend sustained. Fairbourn could face the death penalty if convicted.

Detained at Sweetwater County jail, Fairbourn's bail remains at $1 million, though his attorney requested a reduction during the preliminary hearing Tuesday.

Fairbourn sought sexual services, he told police, when he went to the hotel room where the women were staying about 1 a.m. He purportedly forced his way into the room and attacked the women with a knife, killing Story and injuring her friend, according to charging documents. Story was transported to a local hospital, where she died from the injuries.

In his initial court appearance in June, Fairbourn told Judge Craig Jones that he was not involved in stabbing the two women.
