TRAX service was delayed Sunday in Sandy after the driver of a pickup truck went around crossing guard arms and crashed into the side of a train, police said.

No one was injured, according to Lt. Troy Arnold of the Sandy Police Department. He said service was expected to be affected for a few hours following the collision, which occurred at 4:51 p.m. at 150 E. 8800 South.

The driver — who did not appear to be impaired — will receive a citation, Arnold said.
