West Jordan police identified the man found dead in a front yard Wednesday morning and ruled his death a homicide.

Steven Conlon, 29, was found with at least two gunshot wounds, said West Jordan police Lt. Drew Sanders. Conlon's body was discovered by a utility worker about 9:45 a.m. at a home near 6200 South and 5300 West.

Conlon, from Colorado, had been in Utah for two weeks, Sanders said, but did not live at the home.

Police were investigating the death Wednesday night.
