South Salt Lake police are requesting the public's help in identifying two men who robbed a smoke shop at gunpoint.

At about 8:30 p.m. Sunday, two men entered Smoker's Point, 283 E. 3300 South, and brandished handguns and threatened the store employee, police said.

The robbers loaded a large bag with cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, then left through store's back door and ran east toward 300 East.

The store employee was not injured or physically harmed during the robbery.

One of the suspects was described as a white male wearing a black ball cap, a gray long sleeve shirt with a Pittsburgh Steelers pin worn on his collar. He had a moustache with a long goatee.

The other suspect was wearing all black with a black face mask.

Police said the two suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
