A 57-year-old woman was in custody Friday night after a four-hour standoff in Roy.

The woman allegedly threatened a family member and a neighbor with a handgun near 3800 South and 1900 West, said Roy police Officer Joshua Taylor. When police arrived about 4:30 p.m., the woman had holed herself up in her mobile home, Taylor said.

The Ogden Metro SWAT team talked the woman into coming out of the home about 8:30 p.m., and officers transported her to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.

Investigators don't know what motivated the woman, Taylor said, but no one else was injured in the incident.

Police found a small fire at the woman's house after she walked out; Taylor said the cause was undetermined and the blaze was quickly extinguished.
