The Unified Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a man and his female accomplice suspected of committing 10 armed robberies at Salt Lake area businesses during the past two weeks.

In almost all of the robberies the man enters the business, displays a black semi-automatic handgun, and tells the employees that he doesn't want to hurt anybody, but that he needs all the money, according to a UPD news release.

No one has been injured in any of the robberies, but the suspect seems to be increasing the frequency of the robberies, which is concerning to police.

The man is most often seen wearing black from head to toe. In most robberies he is wearing a long sleeve black or gray shirt, black shorts or black long pants, a black hat and black sunglasses. He is described as having blonde hair and a blonde goatee. He is also described as being short, around 5-foot-6, 140-150 pounds with a slim build. He is between 25 and 35 years of age.

In a couple of the robberies, witnesses have seen the man get into a silver car driven by a blonde female.

Police believe the woman has acted as getaway drive in all of the robberies.

During a Subway robbery on Monday, police got a good description of the car from witnesses, who described it as a silver Mazda 3 with no front license plate, and the driver as a younger blonde female.

If anyone recognizes the man in the surveillance photos or has any information regarding these robberies, they are asked to call UPD at 385-468-9819.

The identity of anyone providing information will be kept confidential.
