A 3-year-old girl was taken off life support Friday morning, a day after the child was found underwater in a family pool in Alpine.

Police responded at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday to a report of a toddler who had possibly been underwater for two to three minutes at a home near 600 South and 400 East, said Lone Peak police Detective Dave Vetrano on Saturday.

After unsuccessful attempts at CPR, the girl was transported to American Fork Hospital and later Primary Children's Hospital, where she showed no brain activity.

Vetrano said he could not name the girl, but a GoFundMe account set up by friends of the family identifies her as Reagan Anderson.
