A woman was upgraded to serious condition Thursday, the day after she was struck by a truck as she rode her bicycle on a Draper sidewalk.

Draper police Sgt. Chad Carpenter said Lisa Church, 57, had been transported to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray in critical condition after the accident, about 6 p.m. Wednesday near 12300 South near the Lone Peak Parkway.

Church was hit as she cycled westbound and the truck turned right onto 12300 South.

Carpenter said the truck driver was not cited, but the accident remained under investigation and any charges will be screened by the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office.
