One person is in critical condition after a pickup truck rolled on Interstate 84 in Summit County on Saturday afternoon, police said.

Two men from Missouri were driving east near Henefer at mile marker 115 when the car crossed the median and westbound lanes and rolled, said Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Cameron Roden.

The driver, who is about 50, was taken to the University of Utah Medical Center by helicopter in critical condition, according to a UHP news release. The passenger, who was a co-worker of the driver, was taken by ambulance to McKay Dee Hospital in fair condition, police said.

The driver was wearing his seat belt, and the passenger told police the driver had a history of health issues and was unresponsive immediately prior to the crash.

Investigators suspect the medical condition may have caused the crash.

No one else was injured in the crash, Roden said.
