The National Weather Service is predicting highs from 70 to the mid-70s on Saturday along the Wasatch Front. The mild temperatures will be accompanied by a 20 percent chance of isolated showers.

On Sunday, the highs will be a few degrees warmer and could reach 80 in the Salt Lake and Tooele valleys, as well as in Provo. The chance of precipitation also will be slightly higher, about 30 percent to 40 percent in many locations.

The streak of nice weather will continue on Memorial Day with highs in northern Utah in the 70s. There will be a 20 percent possibility of rain, the weather service says.

Lows in the 40s and 50s are expected all three days.

In southern Utah, a high of about 90 and a low of about 60 is expected during the three-day weekend in the St. George area. Kanab and Escalante should reach 80 to the low 80s and drop to 50 overnight, according to the weather service.

Both areas are facing a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
