High winds in Tooele County toppled two semi-trucks Friday evening on Interstate 80.

Both were driving east around 5:15 p.m. and overturned within a five-minute period, less than half a mile from each other near mile post 84, Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Evan Kirby said.

One semi crash was out of the way of traffic, but the other blocked both lanes, Kirby said, so travelers were diverted off Exit 84, to State Road 318 near Grantsville, for about two hours.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries, Kirby said.
