The Utah County Sheriff's Office confirmed that 911 land line service to Eagle Mountain had been restored by late Tuesday morning.

Sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Cannon said CenturyLink staff had been working to restore the service to the Eagle Mountain area through the night. As of 10 a.m., he said, it was once more working.

The remainder of Utah County's 911 land line services — and all cellphone 911 services — continued to operate throughout the outage.

The service to Eagle Mountain reportedly failed about 10:15 p.m. Monday. The cause was undisclosed.
