The beginning of a weekend of thunderstorms and gusting winds left nearly 2,400 Utahns in Weber County in the dark Friday.
Rocky Mountain Power confirmed that a pole fire, which began about 10:50 a.m., affected 2,389 residential and business customers in Ogden, South Ogden and Uintah City as of 12:50 p.m.
Repair crews were dispatched, and all services were restored at about 6:20 p.m.
