Sandy police are hoping someone out there will recognize security camera images of an armed robbery suspect who made off with an unspecified amount of pizza shop dough, of the paper kind.

Sgt. Dean Carriger said the suspect — described as a gray-bearded white male in his 40s, of thin to medium build, and wearing a mesh hat, white long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans — walked into the Domino's Pizza at 8944 S. 700 East just before 3 p.m. Thursday.

The suspect pulled a handgun from his waistband, demanded and received cash, and then fled the eatery on foot. He was last seen running south.

Anyone with information on the suspect should call Sandy police at 801-568-4636.
