Salt Lake City fire crews on Thursday got under control a fire at a multiresidential building within 10 minutes of their arrival.

The fire, at 130 S. 700 East, was contained to the room where it started, and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters arrived at the building — which is a large house that has been converted into apartments — at about 4:15 p.m., according to Jasen Asay, Salt Lake City Fire Department spokesman.

The cause is under investigation.
