Ogden fire investigators are looking into the cause of an early Wednesday morning blaze that heavily damaged a vacant house.

Ogden Deputy Fire Chief Eric Bauman said flames were reported pouring from the basement of the home, at 1066 30th Street, about 1:20 a.m. Crews quickly extinguished the blaze, but not before it caused an estimated $30,000 in damage.

No injuries were reported among the 16 firefighters dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained to the home's basement.
