A Magna man died in a Davis County crash early Sunday morning.

Chris Hulse, 61, was driving a pickup truck south on Interstate 15 near Parrish Lane in Centerville when his truck veered to the right and collided with the back of a semi parked in the right emergency lane due to a high wind warning, according to a Utah Highway Patrol press release.

It is suspected that the wind may have been a factor in the crash.

Hulse, who was not wearing his seat belt, was taken to the hospital in Bountiful, where he died from injuries.
