A woman has died after contracting swine flu, health officials in Uintah County confirmed to KUTV.

The woman died recently, TriCounty Health Department spokesman Jeramie Tubbs told the news channel, a news-gathering partner of The Salt Lake Tribune.

"Officials are currently not sure if the person who died had a flu shot," KUTV reported. "However, they are still urging people to get a flu shot if they haven't already. Even though the brunt of flu season is has already come, it is not too late to get vaccinated."
