Two men were injured, one critically, in a rollover crash early Friday morning in West Jordan.

Public safety dispatchers confirmed the crash occurred at 6:39 a.m. on a slushy, icy stretch of Redwood Road near 8500 South.

West Jordan police Officer Scott List said a truck was northbound on Redwood Road when it collided with a car as it attempted to enter the road from 8500 South. The truck struck the car, and then rolled.

The 26-year-old male driver of the car was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, where he was listed in critical condition.

The truck's driver, a 41-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital.

Redwood Road was closed down in both directions for several hours while wreckage was cleared.

The accident was under investigation and no citations were immediately issued, List said.
